one of my resolution for 2017 is trying to eat healthier (probably like a lot of you). I is actually quite hard because I am always eating something like chocolate, fruit, cookies etc. recently I discovered 2 really easy and actually rather healthy. It is in fact crispy chickpeas. Since then I am obsess with this snack. Inspired by poppy Deyes blog post.
let's get started!
for the sweet version you will need:
half a tin of chickpea
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1/3 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp of honey
salt and pepper
for the salty/spicy version you will need:
half a tin of chickpea
1tbsp of coconut oil
1/2 tsp of chicken BBQ spices
salt and pepper
1. preheat you oven to 355F.
2. Drain, wash and dry your chickpeas.
3. spread the chickpea on a baking tray and bake for 40 min until crispy.
4. take them out of the oven and mix with the coconut oil and your spices (and honey if you do the sweet ones).
5. put them back in the oven for a final 5 to 10 min.
6. let the chickpea cool down on the counter before eating them.
